Emergency Lighting

In the loss of building power there must be emergency lighting in the car. This can be built into the C.O.P. or the car lights themselves may function as emergency lighting by continuing to function under battery power. Your elevator is required to have a battery capable of sustaining the emergency lighting for 4 hours during a power outage.
