The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) has an independent Private Residence Division to standardize Private Residence Elevators (also known as Home Elevators) by extending the level of regulation and safety standards that shape the commercial elevator industry into the residential elevator field. Through CECA's Private Residence Standard, documentation, inspection, maintenance and homeowner training we strive to guide the residential elevator industry towards higher levels of safety and accountability.
CECA's Private Residence Division is comprised of home elevator industry experts.
CECA's Private Residence Division realizes the importance of educating homeowners as well. Understanding the maintenance of your elevator and how it functions, keeps your elevator operating at top performance and keeps your family safe.
