IF YOUR ELEVATOR STOPS BETWEEN FLOORS - Stay in the elevator car and REMAIN CALM.
- Make sure car gates are closed COMPLETELY.
- Make sure the Emergency STOP button is in the “RUN” position.
- Make sure any on/off key switch that may be provided is in the “ON” position.
- Try to place another floor call.
| IF THE ELEVATOR STILL WILL NOT OPERATE - Press the “ALARM” button to signify to others in the house that the elevator is stuck.
- Use the telephone in the elevator to call your elevator service company or 911 for assistance.
- Do not attempt to exit the elevator without assistance from a trained professional.
- Do not enter the elevator shaft for any reason.
- DO NOT PANIC. Remain calm and wait for help to arrive.
